Mohamed Zeeshan is a foreign affairs columnist and author of Flying Blind: India’s Quest for Global Leadership (Penguin 2021). He writes for The Diplomat on South Asian affairs and also authors ‘The Z Factor’ - a Sunday monthly column in the Deccan Herald. He has also written on international affairs for The Washington Post, The Straits Times, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Telegraph (UK), South China Morning Post, The National Interest, Haaretz and other leading publications around the world.
He is a Founding Partner and Editor-in-Chief of Freedom Gazette, an acclaimed Indian policy advocacy site, and hosts the Gazette's Beyond the Headlines podcast on India and the world. He holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University.
